Reports Out Of Miami Say Shaq Injured During Friday Loss To Bobcats

The Miami Herald reported Sunday that Miami Heat center All-Star Shaquille O’Neal suffered a contusion of the left quadricep in the first half of the Heat’s loss to the Charlotte?Bobcats?Friday night.? Shaq was huts during the game’s first five minutes when he collided with Charlotte center Emeka Okafor (do you think the people in the cheap seats could feel the aftershock of that collision? Probably!) Shaq left the game but did return in the second quarter before retiring to the locker room for the second half. O’Neal after the contest told reporters he was not concerned with the injury, however the Herald is reporting that his status is uncertain for the remaining 3 pre-season games. Miami is already without Dwayne Wade who is recovering from shoulder surgery. The Heat are0-4 so far in the NBA Pre-Season.
