Cavs Don’t Find Magic In China Lose To Orlando 90-86

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard had a monster game scoring 31 points and grabbing 14 rebounds as the Magic came back from a fourth quarter deficit to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday 90-86. The game was the first of the league’s NBA China 2007 games, another in Commissioner David Stern’s efforts to give the NBA world wide exposure. Magic guard Jameer Nelson seemed to feel right at home in Shanghai as he scored 24 points, had 6 assists and three boards. Cleveland was once again done in by their lack of success at the charity stripe shooting only 69.2%, a trend that continues from last season. Cleveland forward LeBron James was his team’s high score with 17 points, however he had only one rebound and 3 assists far below his normal standards. Guard Larry Hughes had 16 in the loss for the Cavaliers.

DWIGHT HOWARD has been my favorite player to watch and I really think he can have #’s of: 23 points, 14 boards, 3 assists, and 3 blocks a game! He is the best CENTER in the game 2day and has improved his offensive moves, shot, and FT’s, watch out for him as an MVP Candidate if Orlando does well enough with the acquisition of Rashard Lewis. Not only does Dwight Howard DUNK everything, he has to be the strongest player in the NBA, and is only now starting to realize it, tapping into that potential that can have him up there with all the Great NBA Centers of All-Time, with Hakeem, Wilt, and Russell, if he can improve each year and have that hunger to bring up a winner in Orlando… D.Howard is going to what Garnett was to Minnesota, but I see more SUCCESS and a better all-around player that is much stronger and more of an INSIDE FORCE to be reckoned with, all on top of that, he is one of the “better” people in the NBA, and you find nothing but good things written about Dwight. Look for Dwight to DOMINATE even more once again, as you saw what the Detroit defense did last year in the playoffs when he went to DUNK the ball - they parted like the “Red Sea”, and LOOK for him to be a better 4th quarter, crunchtime player, with his improved offensive skills and his FT ability moving up, DWIGHT will be the most DOMINATE center since Hakeem and Shaq - Watch him DEVELOP and ENJOY him as he plays with shear, brute strength and impressive ability, the ability that makes him the most talented big man, and LEGITIMATE INSIDE guy (not many left) in the League right now - I really feel sorry for all who try to guard this big fellow this year, and for many years to come, welcome to the MVP list Dwight!!!

Correction…
It’s great to see inside players who want to play the game truly inside, and work on their game during the off-season and want to own the paint area downlow. With Dwight the sky is the limit, and I can write so much more about this once-in-a-lifetime type of player, I haven’t seen too many like him, and he reminds me just a bit like a young Hakeem with his dunking ability, and blocked shots. Doesn’t have the quickness just yet and definitely not the moves as of now, and the great blocking presence like Hakeem did, but he is much STRONGER and Overpowering, but he can improve to be a “HAKEEM” like player…
