Bobcats Morrison May Miss Season With Torn ACL

The Charlotte Bobcats announced Sunday that forward Adam Morrison could miss the upcoming NBA season after tearing his ACL in his left knee?in a pre-season game against the LA Angels. The announcement was made after a MRI revealed? the tear Sunday morning.? The injury occurred during the 3rd quarter between the Bobcats and the Lakers, Morrison was immediately removed from the game. Morrison who spent his rookie year in Charlotte was a player the Bobcats were counting on to be part of their nucleus. He averaged 11.8, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists as a rookie. Morrison will travel back to Charlotte Monday to be evaluated by the Bobcats team doctor.
