The Atlanta Hawks had three players score at least 20 points each Monday as they outscored the Washington Wizards 103-99. Hawks starting forwards Marvin Williams and Josh Smith each had 24, and the man with the ’70’s style ‘Fro Josh Childress came off the bench and scored 22. The two teams traded 28-20 quarters in the first half with the Wizards doing it in the?first quarter only for Atlanta to return the favor?in the second quarter.?The results were a 48-48 tie at the half before the Hawks took the lead in the third quarter. Washington was led by Gilbert Arenas with 19 points in the loss. Atlanta now has a 6-1 record in the pre-season their most wins since 1995, Washington stands at 4-2.
