Dallas Mavericks forward Josh Howard had 22 points and 7 rebounds, while guard Devin Harris had 19 points, 4 boards and 4 assists as the?Mavericks ?got past the?New Orleans?Hornets Sunday 103-97. After a strong first quarter when Dallas had a 16 point lead at 36-20, Dallas let the lead evaporate. New Orleans outscored the Mavericks 32-16 so the teams went into the locker room tied at 52 each. But Dallas again dominated in the third quarter, and though the Hornets would threaten Dallas held on for the win. Hornets point guard Chris Paul, a great player who does not get the notice or respect he deserves led New Orleans with 16 points and 11 assists.
