Bobcats Name Brezec As Starting Center

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that Charlotte Bobcats rookie coach Sam Vincent?has named veteran big man Primo Brezec as his starting center to open the NBA season. The move will also effect Emeka Okafor who will now be the starting power forward, Walter Herrman will now be starting the game on the bench. Brezec originally from Slovenia has played six seasons in the NBA, three with the Indiana Pacers and three with Charlotte. Brezec has averaged 8.6 points, and 4.5 rebounds per game in his career.
