Durant Hurts Ankle As Seattle Falls To Warriors 126-122 IN O/T

Seattle SuperSonics first round pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Kev in Durant left Tuesday night’s contest between Seattle and the Golden State Warriors with an ankle injury in the waning moments of regulation. The Sonics eventually lost the pre-season game in overtime 126-122, but the game was of little consequence to the Seattle crowd, Their concern was with the young man Seattle fans?have designated as the team’s savior. X-Rays were taken after the? game and they were negative. After the game Durant had his injured left ankle encased in a walking boot. Although he is doubtful for Wednesday night’s game versus Durant said he would be back in plenty of time for the Sonics regular season opener.
