Howard Leaves Game With Injury But Mavericks Beat Bulls 96-88

Dallas Mavericks forward?Josh Howard ?left Tuesday’s game between Dallas and the Chicago Bulls with an injury to his left wrist?in the third quarter. He still was the game’s high scorer with 19 points as?Dallas defeated Chicago 98-88. Howard suffered what is believed to be a sprain and underwent X-Rays after the game. Results of the severity of the injury are not known at this time. Howard was one of five Dallas players to score in double figures, while the Bulls had three players tied for the club high with 12 points each.?Guards Thabo Sefolosha, and Thomas Gardner as well as forward Joachim Noah, all came off the bench to score 12 apiece. The win puts Dallas at 5-3 in the pre-season while Chicago is now 3-3.
