Reports That D.Miles Being Investigated In Role In Bar Fight

The Portland Oregonian reported on Wednesday that Portland Trail Blazers forward Darius Miles is being investigated by Portland police about what role if any he played in an altercation that took place Saturday night. The fight resulted in a man suffering a broken leg. The?incident took place Saturday at a Portland night spot called City Sports Bar and Restaurant. ?The man who was injured Elijah Warren says that Miles was present during the fight. Police are withholding the name of the alleged attacker at this time. The owner of the establishment Tim Pearce?says Miles was present during the altercation but not participate. Miles has not played in the NBA since undergoing microfracture surgery last November. Miles has hired an attorney who released a statement saying he was confident that Miles will be found to have no role in the incident.
