Piston Win Game Over Wizards 104-85 But Lose Stuckey To Injury
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The Detroit Pistons defeated the Washington Wizards 104-85 Wednesday night but the exhibition win?took a heavy toll on the regular season.?Pistons rookie guard Rodney Stuckey who the team thought would have a major impact in his debut season in the NBA broke his left hand in the third quarter. Many members?of the Pistons Brain-trust believed that Stuckey may have been the steal of the 2007 NBA Draft. There is no word on the severity of the break or how long the guard will be out. Detroit forward Jarvis Hayes who signed with the team during the off-season led the Pistons against his former?teammates with 21 points. Antawn Jamison?led the Wizards with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
