It’s getting to that treacherous time in the NBA exhibition season when some big time players status is unknown for Opening night due to last minute injuries. Chicago Bulls center Ben Wallace is the newest name?on the list after spraining his left ankle in the second quarter of Chicago’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Wallace left the game with eight points, but it was guard Kirk Hinrich with 20 points and 7 assists that led the way to a 97-81 win for the Bulls. Chicago added two more casualties as forward Tyrus Thomas injured his right foot in the third quarter, and rookie forward Joachim Noah suffered an injury to his right ankle. The Bucks although losing the game, came through unscathed physically. Milwaukee forward Charlie Villanueva led the Bucks with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
