Nets Not Sure Wright Is Right Fit Decline Extension

The New Jersey Nets Friday revealed that they are not picking up the fourth year option on guard/forward Antoine Wright. He will play for New Jersey this upcoming season but will become an unrestricted free agent when the campaign ends. Nets team President Rod Thorne said that the organization had come to the decision to retain salary flexibility going into next off-season. Wright was the number 15 pick by the Nets in the 2005 NBA Draft, the 6′7″ player went to college at Texas A&M.
