Nets Announce They Have Waived Robert Hite

The New Jersey Nets issued a statement late Sunday night that they have requested waivers on second year guard Robert Hite?in order to give him his unconditional release. Hite signed with New Jersey as a free agent back in early August played in six exhibition games with?New Jersey averaging ?5.3 points per game,e and 2,8 rebounds in six games. Hite played his rookie year with the Miami? Heat playing in only 12 games with pretty anemic numbers, 4.3 points and 1.3 boards per game,
