Reports Out Of Cleveland Say Howard May Head To Cavaliers

Cleveland Plain Dealer NBA beat writer Branson Wright?wrote Monday that?veteran big man Juwan Howard may be a good?fit for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Howard who was bought out of his contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves is known to want to play on a team ready to contend. With Minnesota trading Kevin Garnett to Boston this summer, Minnesota is now in a rebuilding mode. Howard was traded to Houston back in June?and at the time Howard was looking forward to teaming up with Garnett. According to the report Howard has narrowed his choices down to 3 teams, Dallas, Boston, and Cleveland. The Cavaliers have reached an impasse with their own free agent Anderson Varejao giving them a need for some front court presence.
