Indiana Pacers head coach Jim O’Brien enjoyed a successful debut as point guard Jamaal Tinsley scored 16 of his 20 points, including overtime, as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Washington Wizards 119-110.? Tinsley also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists.? Forward Mike Dunleavy chipped in 25 points and 12 rebounds and F Danny Granger added 20 points and 13 boards.

The Wizards were led by PG Gilbert Arenas with 34 points, including the 3-pointer that forced overtime.? Antawn Jamison contributed 27 points and 16 rebounds and F Caron Butler added 19 points and 11 boards.? The Pacers were without the services of F Jermaine O’Neal who is suffering from a hyperextended left knee and center Troy Murphy was unavailable with a strained left Achilles tendon.? Indiana (1-0) next face the Miami Heat on Friday, November 2 while Washington (0-1) visits the Boston Celtics, also on Friday.
