Paxson Denies Kobe Trade Rumors

 
Chicago Bulls General Manger John Paxson Thursday said that Lakers star Kobe Bryant was not headed to Chicago. Paxson said that rumours were incorrect that the two teams were close to a deal involving the disgruntled guard from Los Angeles. Still no deals signed for Bulls’ Deng, Gordon

 

The Chicago Bulls obviously are in no rush to sign two important cogs of their offense, swingman Luol Deng and guard Ben Gordon.  According to Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald, neither player agreed to terms ona contract extension before Wednesday’s deadline, which in essence will make them restricted free agents this summer.
