Hamilton out for Pistons’ season-opener

Don’t expect Detroit Pistons shooting guard Richard Hamilton to suit up tonight. The Associated Press reports that Hamilton will not be at the team’s season-opener at Miami due to a family emergency; rookie SG Arron Afflalo will start in his place. Hamilton could rejoin the Pistons as early as Friday, when they face the Orlando Magic.
