For the second consecutive night the Detroit Pistons went into a Florida NBA Arena and kicked some tail. Thursday night it was in Miami where they defeated the heat 91-80. Friday night they took their show to Orlando and had similar results as they torched the Magic 116-92. Thursday night’s game was the “Tayshaun Prince Show” as the forward carried the team on his back with 34 points. Friday night was a much more balanced effort as six Detroit players scored in double figures including four of the five starters. Guard Flip Murray came off the bench and scored 19 for the Pistons, while Chauncey Billups scored 18 points 7 assists and six rebounds. Orlando forward Rashard Lewis led all scorers with 21 points while center?Dwight Howard had 16 points and 13 boards in the loss.. Detroit is now 2-0 so far in the young NBA season while Orlando falls to 1-1.
