Dunleavy, Granger lead Pacers over Grizzlies 121-111
In my previous blog, I mentioned about Pacers head coach Jim O’Brien and the message he had relayed to his team, which was not to pass up an open shot. Based on tonight’s results, it would appear that they took the message to heart as the Pacers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-111. Indiana shot […]

J-Kidd’s Triple-Double Leads Nets Overs Sixers 93-88
One night after having a game that fell below the standards he has set for himself in the NBA, Nets guard Jason Kidd had a triple-double leading New Jersey over their hosts the Philadelphia 76ers 93-88. Kidd was just everywhere on the court scoring 16 points grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing off 10 assists. Richard […]

Hedo It Again! Turkoglu Leads Magic Past Wizards 94-82
Friday night was a tough night for both the Washington Wizards, and the Orlando Magic. The Wizards went into Boston and had their lunch handed to them by the Celtics losing 103-83. Meanwhile Orlando who was at home did not have it any easier hosting the Pistons, as Detroit walked away with a 116-92 win. […]

Pacers HC O’Brien: Take open shots
From the 3-point stats the Pacers have so far this young season (in two games - the Pacers have made 20-of-44 3-pointers), one would think that the Pacers’ shooters are undisciplined. Pacers head coach Jim O’Brien may beg to differ with you. According to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star, early on in training […]

Reports Say Pavlovic Could Play Sunday For Cleveland
Cleveland Plain Dealer NBA Beat writer Branson Wright reported Saturday that Cleveland Cavalier’s Sasha Pavlovic could make his 2007-2008 NBA debut Sunday. The Cavaliers will be in Phoenix to take on the Suns, and it should be a good barometer to see what kind of shape the guard is in. Cleveland’s contest against Phoenix will be […]

Nets’ Carter Hits 15,000 Mark
In last night’s blowout to the Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets guard-forward Vince Carter eclipsed 15,000 points for his career. Carter is the third-fastest active NBA player to reach 15,000; only Miami Heat center Shaquiile O’Neal and Denver Nuggets guard Allen Iverson got there faster. Carter is also the 20th-fastest player to reach that mark.

After Friday night every team in the NBA has played at least one game in the very young 2007-2008 NBA Season. Saturday night’s schedule is not quite as full as Friday night’ which was jamming with 13 games. Saturday only has 7 but there are some very intriguing match ups. The Utah Jazz and Golden […]

Warriors’ F Croshere Out With Sore Back
Golden State Warriors forward Austin Croshere, who won’t exactly be accused of being the healthiest player on the squad, is going through what has been a recurring theme with him, ever since he was a member of the Indiana Pacers. Geoff Lepper of the Contra Costa Times reports that Croshere went to visit Los Angeles-based […]

Celtics Rock The Garden Beat On Wizards 103-83
It was like a trip back in time, back when NBA players wore those terrible short shorts that looked like swimming trunks (See I admit some things are better in 2007!) Back when the two dominant teams in the NBA resided on opposite coasts one in Los Angeles and one in Boston. And although it was only […]
