Friday night was a tough night for both the Washington Wizards, and the Orlando Magic. The Wizards went into Boston and had their lunch handed to them by the Celtics losing 103-83. Meanwhile Orlando who was at home did not have it any easier hosting the Pistons, as Detroit walked away with a 116-92 win. The one consolation about the Wizards and the Magic playing each other Saturday in Washington was that one of them would walk out of the arena with a win.

Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu led four of the five Orlando starters in double figures as they beat the Wizards 94-82. Turkoglu had a game high 25 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds for Orlando. Rashard Lewis had 18 while Jameer Nelson each had 17 and Howard had a team high 15 rebounds. Caron Butler led the scoring for Washington, with 23 points, and 9 rebounds while center Brendan Haywood scored 10 points and grabbed a game high 16 boards. The Wizards are still in search of their first win of the campaign fall to 0-3 while the Magic are now 2-1.
