Reports Say Pavlovic Could Play Sunday For Cleveland

Cleveland Plain Dealer NBA Beat writer Branson Wright reported Saturday that Cleveland Cavalier’s Sasha?Pavlovic could make his 2007-2008 NBA debut Sunday. The Cavaliers will be in Phoenix to take on the Suns, and it should be a good barometer to see what kind of shape the guard is in. Cleveland’s contest against Phoenix will be the start of a six game road trip. The Cavaliers on Friday signed a multi-year pact with Pavlovic. The restricted fee agent and the team were at an impasse the entire off-season, but Pavlovic?s agent Marc Cornstein said Cleveland increased their offer over the last few days. The Eastern European native had his best campaign?of his four year NBA career last season. He averaged 9.0?points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 67 games. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
