Saturday Night’s All Right! Seven Games On NBA Docket
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
After Friday night every team in the NBA has played at least one game in the very young 2007-2008 NBA Season. Saturday night’s schedule is not quite as full as Friday night’ which was jamming with 13 games. Saturday only has 7 but there are some very intriguing match ups. The Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors will meet again a repeat of the season opening contest. Utah won that won in a route 117-96, Carlos Boozer who has scored at least 30 points in both of the Jazz games this season had 32 that night. Golden State who shocked the NBA last season by ousting the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the?NBA Playoffs is 0-2 so far this campaign. Utah currently sits at 1-1 having lost to Houston Thursday night. Which coincidentally brings us to the Rockets(nice how that works out,eh?) who are looking to remain undefeated starting out the season 2-0. They take on Portland who is still searching for their first win. The Trail Blazers were counting mightily on Number One pick Greg Oden, and when he went down for the year after having microfracture surgery on his knee,?Portland’s hopes went with him.
In other NBA action Sacramento is still looking for their first win a, but it won’t be easy as they will be going up a pretty ticked off Dallas team who were upset by the Atlanta Hawks 101-94. You know the Mavericks are going to have a take no prisoners attitude, and it could be a long night for the Kings. Two more teams?that are going to be upset after Friday night losses are Washington and Orlando. Washington lost to Boston 103-83, and Orlando got taken to task by Detroit 116-92. The Wizards will host the Magic Saturday night in what is sure to be a hard fought contest.?
