Arenas Bothered By Fluid In His Knee
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
The Washington Post reported on Sunday that guard Gilbert Arenas is being bothered by fluid in his left knee. He had surgery on that knee last season ending his season, and with he and Caron Butler not participating in the playoffs the Wizards were severely undermanned. Arenas according to the report felt stiffness in the knee after playing back to back games Friday and Saturday nights. Arenas had the knee drained during the Summer and said he is thinking about undergoing the process again. He said the fluid makes him feel like he is carrying a five pound weight on his left leg. Washington who is 0-3 are off until Thursday when they travel to New Jersey to take on the Nets.
