The Lakers seem to have some success against division leading teams; tonight was no exception.  Friday night the Lakers beat the Suns and tonight they defeated the Utah Jazz at the Staples Center 119-109.  After three quarters and trailing 82-81, the Lakers pulled ahead 88-82 on center Andrew Bynum’s dunk and a pair of layups by Lakers reserve guard Jordan Farmar.

The Lakers, who had six players in double digits, were led by guard Kobe Bryant as he scored 33 points; guard Derek Fisher added 19 points and Bynum chipped in 15.  The Jazz, who also had 6 players in double-digits, were led by point guard Deron Williams with 26 points; power forward Carlos Boozer added 23 and 12 rebounds and Ronnie Brewer contributed 15.  The Lakers (2-1) play again on Tuesday when they host the New Orleans Hornets while the Jazz (2-2) return to Salt Lake City and face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
