Suns point guard Steve Nash showed again why he won back to back NBA MVP Awards scoring 30 points with 10 assists and 4 rebounds. Phoenix who won despite forward Amare Stoudemire not playing also got 23 points and 12 rebounds from Shawn Marion.

Cleveland’s All-Star forward LeBron James had a great game with 27 points 8 assists and 5 rebounds. In fact the Cavaliers whole starting front court had great nights with both center Zydrunas Ilgauskas and power forward Drew Gooden each scoring 22, with Gooden grabbing 14 boards and Z getting 13 in the loss. This was the first of a six game road trip for Cleveland who now fall to 1-2 in the young season, Phoenix with the win improves to 2-1.
