Dallas Mavericks head coach Avery Johnson told reporters Monday night that center Erick Dampier will resume practicing with the team on Tuesday. The 11 year NBA veteran has been inactive because of a shoulder injury was given medical clearance Monday to participate in full contact practice. Johnson is not giving a date of when Dampier will be re-activated, saying the team will take it day by day. Dampier first played in the NBA in the 1996-1197 season with the Indiana Pacers. He then played for Golden State from the 1997-1998 campaign through 2003-2004. He started playing for Dallas in? the 2004-2005 season.
