When Cleveland Cavaliers veteran guard Larry Hughes is in good health he is truly one the NBA’s elite players. Unfortunately the man is as fragile as Dresden China, and it appears that Larry may be hurt yet once again. Hughes banged knees during Sunday’s loss to the Phoenix Suns and is questionable for Tuesday’s game in Oakland against Golden State. Old friend and colleague Branson Wright reports in Tuesday’s Cleveland Plain Dealer that Hughes will probably be restricted to limited minutes against the Warriors. Hughes in the young season’s first three games has had numbers far below his usual standards. Hughes is averaging 7.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game, pedestrian numbers. Hughes who is now with his fourth NBA team and third season in Cleveland has not played an entire season without injury during his tenure with the Cavaliers.
