The NBA goes from a very light schedule Monday night when only one game took place(Dallas beating Houston 107-98) to a jam-packed 10 game schedule for Tuesday. And again there are some great match-ups taking place all across the USA. If I had told you early this summer that on November 6,2007 the Charlotte Bobcats were taking on the veteran Phoenix Suns and the Bobcats would have the better record, you would have asked me what I drinking! But in this very young NBA Campaign that is the case as the Bobcats host the Suns Tuesday night with Charlotte taking the floor with a 2-0 record while Phoenix sports a record of 2-1. The two new additions for Charlotte is rookie head coach Sam Vincent, taking over from Bernie Bickerstaff, and Jason Richardson who Charlotte got in a draft night trade with Golden State. Hold overs Emeka Okafor, Primo Brezec and Matt Carroll have all contributed to the team’s success. Amare Stoudemire may not play for the Suns as his knee is still recovering from an arthroscopic procedure.

Elsewhere on the schedule the banged up Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Oakland to take on Golden State. Cleveland will be without backup big man Donyell Marshall, and may not have Larry Hughes in the lineup after he suffered a contusion in Sunday’s loss to Phoenix. This is the second game of a six game road trip for the Cavaliers who take the floor with a record of 1-2, while the Warriors are still looking for their first win are at 0-3.

One battle that is sure to be entertaining is the game between Southwest Division rivals San Antonio going to Houston to take on the Rockets. Houston will be playing in the second game of a back to back as they lost for the first time in Dallas Monday night 107-98. They will come into the game at 3-1 while the defending NBA Champs the Spurs have a 3-0 mark.

And the New Orleans Hornets get to show whether they are contenders or pretenders as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers. Chris Paul the Hornets point guard has led his team to a 3-o start. L.A. goes into the game with a 2-1 record, suffering their only loss at home.
