Spurs Stick It To Heat 88-78

The Miami Heat are still searching for their first win after falling Wednesday night to defending NBA Champs the San Antonio Spurs 88-78. Spurs? guard Manu Ginobili led the scoring for his team with 25 points 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Tony Parker 23 points and 8 assists, center Francisco Elson?came off the bench for 12 points and 14 boards and Tim Duncan also had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Miami paid the price for San Antonio suffering their first loss Tuesday to Houston, as they trailed the entire game. Shaquille O’Neal was high scorer for the Heat with 17 points but only 3 rebounds far below his norm. Udonis Haslem had 10 points and 9 boards and Ricky Davis had 14 points and 5 rebounds. San Antonio improves to 4-1 with the win, Miami is 0-4 so far in the young season.
