Three For A Thursday For NBA Schedule
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
Thursday nights TNT stands for Terrific NBA Television(If the folks at TNT want to use that I can be reached for negotiations at this website!) A NBA double-header on TNT as well as one other game on the NBA schedule for the second Thursday of the young campaign. The first game of the nationally televised double-header features two division rivals who are on opposite ends of the spectrum. NBA Central Division leaders the Detroit Pistons who sport a 3-0 record come into the windy city to take on the hapless Chicago Bulls who have limped out of the gate with an 0-4 mark. Chicago with their nucleus?of Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng were looked at in most presesason polls as serious contenders in the East. But they have found a way to lose every night so far. Where as Detroit’s nucleus?of Hamilton, Billups, and Prince have been stellar. And even Rasheed has played the good soldier so far this season, but remember it’s only November!
The second game on the twin-bill should stir up some passion on the court, and in their fans as Dallas goes to Oakland to take on the Golden State Warriors. Of?course the Warriors pulled off the upset of the decade last season by eliminating the Mavericks in the first round. The fortunes have been reversed so far this season as Golden State will take the floor 0-4, while Dallas is now 3-1. expect this game to be hard fought on both ends of the floor.
The game not nationally televised, but will be available on?NBA Ticket?features another pair of teams going in different?directions as The New Jersey Nets face off against the Washington Wizards. Washington goes to the Meadowlands with an 0-4 record, and most likely will not have Gilbert Arenas in their lineup. Arenas is the hub that the Wizards wheel spins on, until he is healthy the whole team will be hurting. Health has been the key for the Nets Success as Richard Jefferson?is back feeling great and leads the charge with the floor leader Jason Kidd calling the shots. New Jersey will tip-off with a 3-1 record.
