The Charlotte Bobcats erased the reminders of their past two games, where they were blown out by 31 and 32, respectively as they beat the Indiana Pacers 96-87.? The Pacers led the Bobcats 73-65 going into the fourth quarter, only to go scoreless for nearly 5 minutes.

Bobcats center Emeka Okafor had a 3-point play and forward Gerald Wallace scored on a huge dunk and a 3 pointer to give Charlotte a 78-73 lead.? Indiana? point guard Jamaal Tinsley ended the drought with a basket of his own with 7:08 left in the game.? Okafor responded with a dunk then grabbed an offensive rebound then passed to guard Matt Carroll who in turn scored a 3-pointer to lengthen the Bobcat lead to 83-75 with 6:02 to go.

Okafor’s basket with 4 minutes remaining then a basket with 2 minutes left gave Charlotte a 12-point lead they would cling to for the win.? Charlotte was led by?the aforementioned?Okafor with his 2nd career 20-20 effort, with 25 rebounds and 23 rebounds, with Wallace adding 28; point guard Raymond Felton returned from being injured with 17 .?
