Six Los Angeles Lakers players scored in double-figures, providing a well-balanced attack while defeating the still winless Minnesota Timberwolves 107-93.? The Lakers were without the services of forward-center Kwame Brown, who is suffering from bursitis in the heel of his right foot.? But then again, the Lakers did not really need him.

This game was pretty much academic late in the second quarter; Los Angeles took control of the game with an 18-3 run that began with two minutes left in the half which finally ended with a jumper by Lakers guard Derek Fisher for a 68-52 lead 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter.? The Timberwolves could get no closer than 7 the rest of the game.

Los Angeles’ leading scorer was guard Kobe Bryant with 30 points and 7 assists; forward Lamar Odom, playing his first game after recovering from shoulder surgery, added 18 points and 10 rebounds and both centers Chris Mihm and Andrew Bynum both sported identical 10 point, 10 rebound efforts.? Minnesota was led by?F Al Jefferson with 24 points?and 15 rebounds, with F Ryan Gomes adding 17; reserve guard Sebastian Telfair chipped in 15.? Los Angeles (3-2) does not play again until Tuesday, November 13, when they travel to San Antonio to face the Spurs.? The winless Timberwolves (0-4) fly into??
