Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is usually the epitome of the NBA sixth man. Every once in a while you look at the box score he might be the seventh. Sunday for some strange reason he was the tenth man off the bench for San Antonio as they took on the Milwaukee Bucks. Ginobili also played only 18:42 in the game an usually short time for him to be on the floor. But he accomplished an awful lot in that time period going 6-9 from the field, 3-5 from outside the arc, and a perfect 6-6 from the line as San Antonio rode the Bucks out of town giving them a 113-88 drubbing.

The Spurs had an amazing 7 players in double figures, 3 starters and 4 off the bench. Micheal Finley led the starters with 17 points, Tim Duncan put in 16 points, 10 rebounds, blocked 4 shots, had 3 assists, and 1 steal, and Tony Parker had 12 points, 5, assists, 1 rebound 1 steal and 1 blocked shot. Off the bench Francisco Elson and rookie center Ian Mahinmi, each had 12 points while rookie guard Darius Washington had 11. The Spurs as a team shot 55.7% from the field.

The Bucks were outmatched from the start. They trailed after the first quarter 36-24, and then scored just 14 points in the second quarter to trail at the half 65-38. Maurice Williams led the way for Milwaukee, with 17 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds, Michael Redd added 14, Yi Jianlian had 13 points, 7 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots while Andrew Bogut had 10 in the loss. Milwaukee falls to a 2-4 record, while San Antonio at 6-1 is tied with Houston atop the Southwest Division.
