The New Orleans Hornets are a team on a mission, based on?their play up to this point of the season.? Tonight was no different as forward David West and point guard Chris Paul led a balanced Hornets attack as they destroyed the Philadelphia 76ers 93-72 at Philadelphia.

Charlotte got two consecutive 3-pointers from guard Jannero Pargo and Bobby Jackson also hit a 3-pointer that gave the Hornets a 40-31 lead.? That was pretty much it for the 76ers, as both teams emptied their benches in the 4th quarter.? Charlotte was led in scoring by both West and Paul with 16 points apiece.? Philadelphia was led by F Andre Iguodala with 17 points with center Samuel Dalembert chipping in 15 and 12 boards.? Charlotte (5-2) play again on Monday when they travel to New Jersey to take on the Nets, while Philadelphia (2-4) play on Tuesday as they host the Dallas Mavericks.
