Big “Z” Leads Way As Cavaliers Clip Clippers 103-95

Four of the five Cleveland Cavaliers starters scored in double figures, as Cleveland got past the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday night 103-95. The Cavaliers who are now over .500 for the first time this season were led by center Zydrunas Ilgauskas who had 25 points,?6 rebounds, forward LeBron James scored 22, 8 assists,6 steals,?5 boards, 1 blocked shot,?Drew Gooden 18 points, 17 rebounds, and Larry Hughes had 12 points in the win. The Cavaliers shot 50.6 % from the field for the game.
Los Angeles who hosted the Cavaliers were led by point guard Sam Cassell who had a game high 28 points. Cassell also had 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal. Clippers forward Corey Magette had 25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists,3 steals, and 1 blocked shot. Center Chris Kaman had 21 points,?8 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots in the loss.
Clippers are?now sitting at 4-2, the Cavaliers now are at 4-3, and have played very well on the road having gone 4-1 so far on their six game road trip. They finish their tour of the nation on?Monday night as they travel to the city where LBJ played his first regular season game in the NBA. The Cavaliers will take on the Denver Nuggets which will be shown on NBA-TV.
