Tuesday night it appeared now that the Miami Heat have gotten into the win column, they could just relax. Their opponents the Charlotte Bobcats took advantage of that as they handily beat the Heat by a 91-76 margin. Neither team played particularly well, it was really a matter of Charlotte being just less bad than Miami.

The Bobcats scored only 17 points in the first quarter, and still won the quarter by five points! Miami not only shot just 12 points in the first quarter, but they repeated the dubious feat again in the third! How can a NBA team with a 24 second shot clock score only 12 points in 12 minutes, not once but twice in the same game?

Gerald Wallace was the game high scorer as the Charlotte forward had 17 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, Jason Richardson had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and Emeka Okafor had 13 points, 10 boards. Shaquille O’Neal did not have a great night scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds, Udonis Haslem was the only other Miami player in double figures, with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist. Miami is now an underwhelming 1-6 while the Bobcats are now 4-3.
