Celtics Get Nets All Tangled Up Win Game 91-69

The Boston Celtics are now 7-0 after a balanced attack against the New Jersey Nets left Boston the victors by a 91-69 margin. New Jersey actually led at the end of the first quarter 23-17, and only trailed Boston by 2 points at the half as it was 36-34. But Boston started to pull ahead in the third, and just blew New Jersey out of the building in the games final period.
The Celtics had six players in double figures led by the “Big Ticket” Kevin Garnett who had 16 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Paul Pierce had 15 points, Ray Allen 14, with 6 assists and 5 rebounds, Rajon Rondo continues to impress with 13 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Tony Allen also scored 13 coming off the bench and Boston center Kendrick Perkins had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Once again Richard Jefferson led the Nets in scoring with a game high 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Jason Kidd had 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, and the rookie big man Sean Williams came off the bench to score 14 points, adding 7 boards and 4 blocked shots. New Jersey after the loss now have a .500 record of 4-4.
