Nets’ Armstrong out with thigh contusion
Posted by Stephen Rhodes under Main

As if the Nets need any more injuries, another player will be out for an extended period of time. SportsTicker reports that reserve guard Darrell Armstrong will be out from between 2-to-4 weeks with a thigh contusion. Armstrong suffered the injury with 2:25 left in the fourth quarter of their 91-69 to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Prior to the injury, Armstrong served as a backup to starting G Jason Kidd, averaging 3.4 points and 1.5 assists in 8 games this season.
