Nuggets Hunter To Have Surgery On Right Knee

The Denver Nuggets announced Thursday that veteran center Steven Hunter will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday. The Nuggets team doctor Dr. Steve Traina will perform the procedure, the team will set a timetable for his return following the surgery. Hunter who is 26 years old and is 7′ is now in his seventh season in the NBA, his first with Denver. Hunter spent the first three years of his career in Orlando, one year in Phoenix, and the last two seasons with the Sixers in Philadelphia.
