Hughes Hurt Again Expected To Miss A Month Or Longer

Tom Withers out of the Associated Press in Cleveland, reported Friday that Cleveland Cavaliers guard Larry Hughes will miss at least a month after suffering an injury. Withers reports that Hughes sustained a bruised left leg when Cleveland played the Phoenix Suns on November 4. Hughes was injured when he collided with Leandro Barbosa.
As I have written many times?in this column, when Larry Hughes is healthy, he is an elite NBA player.?The problem is that he is as fragile as Dresden China, and has missed huge?portions of every season with Cleveland?due?to health issues. Although Hughes can not be described as a point guard in conventional terms, he was the closest facsimile that Cleveland had. Cleveland hosts the Utah Jazz Friday night.
