Nets Bring Gill Back To The NBA

The New Jersey Nets have brought back a familiar face to take the place of injured guard Darrell Armstrong. He is none other than former Nets guard Eddie Gill. Gill was playing in the NBDL for the Colorado 14ers?when he got the call from New Jersey. Gill had been in training camp all preseason with the Nets?but was waived back on October 25. Armstrong was injured Wednesday night?during the Nets?loss to the Boston Celtics. Gill spent five years in the NBA starting with New Jersey in the 200-2001 campaign. Armstrong is expected to miss the next 2-4 weeks suffering from what the club is classifying a “deep thigh bruise.”
