The Memphis Grizzlies led the Seattle SuperSonics 38-24,after the first quarter and the Sonics night only went downhill from there. Memphis led an all out assault on Seattle winning the game 125-108 Monday night. The Grizzlies had 7 players in double figures, led by Stromile Swift who had a season high 24 points, to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Mike Miller had 19, points, 7 assists, point guard Damon Stoudamire who looked to be in a fog the last few games, came alive with 16 points, and 7 assists. Hakim Warrick had his third big game in row for the Grizzlies scoring 16 off the bench. Pau Gasol had a great night, scoring 14, 7 rebounds, 7 blocked shots and 5 assists, while both Rudy Gay and Kyle Lowry each scored 12points for Memphis.

 Even though Memphis won by such a wide margin Seattle had 8 players who scored in double figures! Delonte West led the scoring with 17 points coming off the bench, center Chris Wilcox had 16 , and six Sonics players scored 11 points each. Earl Watson, Kevin Durant, Jeff Green in a starting role, Damien Wilkins, Wally Szcerbiak, and Nick Collison each had 11 apiece for the Sonics. Memphis after the win sees their record improve to 3-7, while Seattle’s falls to 2-10.
