However, Nets forward Richard Jefferson scored 9 straight pointsto being New Jersey to within 7 roughly 4 minutes later.? Utah led 51-41 at halftime.? The 3rd quarter is when Utah did their heaviest damage.? F Paul Millsap scored on Utah’s first possession to give the team their largest lead of the game, 85-58.

Eddie Gill, recently signed by the Nets,?scored 10 consecutive points to narrow Utah’s lead to 86-67, but Jazz PG Deron Williams sparked a 7-0 Utah run to seal the victory.? Utah’s leading scorer was Williams with 20 points, with Boozer adding 17; G Ronnie Brewer and Millsap scored 14 each.? Millsap also collected 10 rebounds.?
