San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker had a monster night to lead the Spurs over the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night 95-83. Parker scored 31 points shooting 13/20 from the field 1/1 from outside the arc, and went 4-4 at the line. He also dished off 9 assists. It was the Spurs sixth win the last seven games.

San Antonio dominated this game from the jump, as they led 29-20, after the first quarter and 61-44 at the half. After trailing by as much as 24 points during the third quarter, the Hawks scored six consecutive points to cut the lead to 18 at the the end of the period at 83-65.

Manu Ginobili did what he always does, bring a spark off the bench in his role as sixth man. Manu scored 19, and had 4 rebounds, Tim Duncan had 13 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and both Michael Finley,and Fabricio Oberto, both had 10 points Oberto also had 10 boards. Atlanta, who scored a couple of early season upsets, and looked like they were jelling two weeks ago have already started to carry on the “Grand Hawks Tradition” of the last few seasons, AKA losing. Joe Johnson led Atlanta with 20 points, Marvin Williams had 16, and both Josh Smith and Al Horford put in 11 in the loss. San Antonio now has a record of 9-2, while Atlanta falls to 3-7.
