??????????????????????????????????????????

?The Washington Wizards have been able, as of late, to win without their All-Star guard Gilbert Arenas.? They got a source of scoring from an unexpected source - forward Andray Blatche.? Blatche scored a career high 26 points, all of which came in handy as the Wizards routed the Philadelphia 76ers 116-101 at Washington.
To illustrate how dominant Washington was tonight, they had a 37-point lead after a 27-6 run in the third quarter which for all intents and purposes, put the game safely away for the Wizards.? Philadelphia broke 100, but only during garbage time in the 4th quarter.? Washington shot 57.3% from the field (including 44% from 3-point land), while Philadelphia shot an acceptable 47% from the field.? However, the 76ers only shot 50% (7-of-14) from the free throw line.
Washington had 6 players in double figures, led by the aforementioned Blatche, who scored a career-high 26 points, doubling his previous high.? Forward Antawn Jamison and guard Dwight Stevenson added 19 each, while G Antonio Daniels chipped in 15 with 8 assists.? Philadelphia was led by reserve guard Louie Williams with 25 points from off the bench, while rookie?F Thaddeus?Young added?14.? Washington (5-5), currently on a 5-game winning streak, hope to continue their hot hand when they travel to Charlotte to take on the Bobcats on Wednesday night.? Philadelphia (3-7), losers of 5 of their last 6 games, travel west to Detroit when they take on the Pistons on Friday night.
