Celtics Take Care Of Business And Warriors 105-82

Sunday night the Boston Celtics lost their first game of the season to the Orlando Magic 104-102.After Orlando basically put on a clinic in the first half?Boston made a valiant effort to comeback. The Celtics went on a 61-46 run and actually took back the lead at 88-87. But they had dug themselves too deep a hole and were unable to hold on.
Boston did not allow the possibility of having to be in a comeback situation, in their first game since the streak had ended. Wednesday night they hosted the? Golden State Warriors, and the Celts had their game faces on from the beginning as they spanked the Warriors 105-82.
Boston took charge early, and never let up as they led 25-16 at the end of the first quarter, and 50-37 at the half. The Celtics scoring parade was led by Ray Allen who had 21 points, and 7 rebounds. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce each had double doubles, Garnett with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and Pierce with 19 points, and 10 boards. Guard Eddie House came off the bench scoring 15 points including three treys.
Guard Monta Ellis was extremely impressive coming off the bench for the Warriors scoring a team high 21 points. Stephen Jackson in his third game back with the team after serving his 7 game suspension scored 15 for Golden State. And Baron Davis had 13 points in the loss. Boston now has a record of 9-1, while the Warriors are now at 3-7.
