The Dallas Mavericks came back from the brink Tuesday night to defeat the Toronto Raptors 105-99. The Mavericks looked like they were totally out of this game as they trailed Toronto by 24 points. But a big run in the?third quarter turned the game back over?to Dallas.

The Mavericks got down in this game early?31-19, at the end of the first quarter, and trailed at the half 55-41 at the half. but when the teams came back from the locker room, that’s when Dirk Nowitzki started getting busy. Nowitzki scored a season high 32 points in the game and just went off during the third!?During the final 1:41 of the third quarter Nowitzki hit four consecutive treys, putting Dallas ahead in the game and breaking the Raptors spirit.

Nowitzki shot 12/19 from the field 4/6 behind the arc, 4/4 at the line and had 7 boards.Mavericks starting?point guard Devin Harris tends to get overlooked when guys like Wade, and Chris Paul come up. Well he may be underrated everywhere else but certainly not on the?Dallas bench as he is turning into on of the rising young stars in the NBA. Harris had 19 points as did the young man who is starting to mount a challenge to Manu Ginobili as best sixth man in the state of Texas. Of?course I am talking about Jason Terry who assumed that role this year for Dallas. Josh Howard as always came up big for the Mavericks scoring 15 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.

Chris Bosh had a monster game for?Toronto scoring 31 points and sharing the game high in rebounds as he and teammate Jamario Moon each had 12 boards. Andrea Bargnani had 20 points, Jose Calderon contributed 14 off the bench, TJ Ford, no slouch himself at point guard had 13, and Anthony Parker had 11 for the Raptors. With the win Dallas now has a record?of 8-2, while Toronto falls one game below .500 at 5-6.
