LBJ Carries Cavaliers Past T-Wolves 97-86

Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star forward LeBron James strapped his team to his back Wednesday night and took the fellas along for the ride. James had an?incredible night as he led Cleveland past the Minnesota Timberwolves 97-86 to bring the Cavaliers back to a .500 mark in the young NBA campaign.
James scored 45 points shooting 17-26 from the field, 6-10 from outside the arc, and 5-8 from the line.?LBJ also had 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals?and 2 blocked shots. Cavaliers power forward Drew Gooden also had a big night for Cleveland scoring 17 points, with 9 rebounds,?2 blocked shots and a steal. Daniel Gibson had 11 points, and 5 assists, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and reserve big man Dwayne Jones each had 10 rebounds in the win.
The T-Wolves were led by former Celtics forward Al Jefferson who had 30 points shooting 12-20 from the field and a perfect?6-6 from the line. He also had 8 rebounds, 1 blocked shot and 1 steal.??Jefferson came to Minnesota in the Kevin Garnett deal, in which they also acquired Gerald Green who scored 13. Antoine Walker now coming off the bench for the T-Wolves had 13 points as well, Walker had 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Green grabbed 3 boards, and had 2 assists. Rashad McCants had 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists in the loss. Minnesota now has a record of 1-8, while Cleveland gets back to even at 6-6.
