Friday night the Utah Jazz won their sixth consecutive?game on their home court, as they handily took care of the New Orleans Hornets 99-71.? Utah had six players in double figures, as they shot 47.4 % from the field, 57.1 % from outside the arc (8-14)?and 85?% from the charity stripe (17-20.)

The Jazz were led by forward Carlos Boozer who more and more each game this season he is starting to look like the player who had such success in Cleveland. Boozer got yet, another double-double as he scored 19 points, a game high 16 rebounds, and?4 assists. Also scoring in double figures, Ronnie Brewer 13 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds. Utah had three players with 12 points each, Deron Williams, who had 7 assists, 3 rebounds, Ronnie Price who came off the bench , and center Mehmet Okur who also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists. Josh Hart scored 11 in the win.

New Orleans playing with Chris Paul back in the lineup kept it close in the first half. The Jazz, though?were much stronger on both sides of the court in the second half. Hornets forward David West?led his team with 18 points, and 14 rebounds, Chris Paul still looking a little rusty out there, had 15 point, 4 rebounds, 4 assists. Tyson Chandler was the only other Hornet, scoring in double figures as he scored 12 points and got seven in rebounds, Utah ’s record is now 9-4 while the Bobcats are at 9-5.
