Garbajosa To Undergo Further Surgery

The Toronto Raptors issued a press release Monday that forward Jorge Garbajosa will have to undergo further surgery on his left knee and left ankle. The 30 year old native of Spain was injured last year on March 27, as the Raptors played the Boston Celtics in Boston.?Garbajosa attempted to block a shot on then Celtic, now Minnesota Timberwolves’ player Al Jefferson. Jefferson went up for a layup, and the Toronto player landed in a heap, falling on his left leg. The team has?not determined a date for the surgery, as they wait for a report from a Baltimore physician they are consulting. The team also stated that there is no date for Garbajosa’s return.
